Pat and Mick haven't stopped dancing yet!   Not a clue who these two were, but they turned up at the Tempest as well!   Superb outfits from the Sudan for Sandra and Ian

A very odd expression on Ian's face - what was Mick up to behind his back??!!

Two thorns between two roses! By this time the camera setting had been accidentally altered, so the pic is slightly blurred. Shame really

.

Some say this is my best view - does my bum look big in this??

How does Pam Kemp put up with Steve Blake on her team? He's SUCH a grump!

Talking of roses and thorn!! I reckon Steve was jealous of me. I never realised I was leering quite as much as this!

Avril, me, Judith and Helen

Just a small point - someone said Avril seemed to be getting more pleasure out of this than I was, so I blew up the image a little - er make your own mind up!

Avril arrives, ready for the fray

The entertainment for the evening is unpacked

And now Blakey arrives - and it's straight for the bar to collect his chips!

First thing first - the committee poses as we present a big cheque to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance

Now Avril hands over the real one - for £1,000 thanks to the members and committee of the club

And we're off - croupier Gary hands out the first winnings of the night

Brian - keep your eye on your chips! And you two - pay attention to the game in hand!

Who's that, pointing rudely at the croupier?

Judith, Brian, Warren & co seem to be on the winning side

Shirley heads for the table

I'm not sure whether Judith and Joan were on a winning streak here - if they were it didn't last!

Carole and Catherine are obviously not!!

Helen and Stuart Bury look absolutely superb as they turn up for the night's entertainment

Shirley's found her place in life - by the side of a roulette wheel, and a good-looking fella!

Glynn looks on as the girls watch their stash mount up!

Not quite sure what was going through Ray's mind in this shot

The croupier tells me to stop messing with my camera and put some money down!

Jeremy's run out of chips - Warren is delighted to relieve him of another fiver!

Glynn looks glum - no, they're not his chips there, they belong to brother Marc

Look at that grin! Shirley's obviously cleaning up well

At last, Glynn's got something to laugh about - was it because Marc had just lost his stash?

Steve Blake offers words of advice to the missus and Helen

Things seem to be looking up for the Anderson family

Helen's looking nervous - but she needn't have!

These have to be the shots of the night! We catch Blakey as he sets off on a major winning streak

Or was it? That's not a good start

Hang on though - all I need is an ace!

In the bag!!!!

Roulette next

The Andersons and Jeremy look completely at home here!

But was it all getting too much for Catherine? We catch her on telephoto as she ponders what to do with all her winnings!

Avril calls an end to the proceedings, and announces the winner "Ladies and Gentlemen . . . . ." much to the amusement of Marc and Glynn

And here she is - the lucky winner! Turns out Blakey's advice was spot on, but so was the lucky wedding anniversary. Helen put everything on 27 right at the end, and cleaned up for a second time!

Back to 2005 - the pics weren't very special; in fact these were the only ones worth putting on the website

Stuart & Helen Bury with Judith, Owen, Avril - and someone else!

Punters try their hand - the event was great fun, but once again the club membership didn't give it the support the fantastic effort deserved

Now we've seen this lot before!
