At work with James Wilson.

Some of the pictures that at one time would have made it onto the Fresh Radio website. Now I've got my own gallery!     Chatting to comedian Andy Parsons of Mock the Week fame. Andy had just performed for two hours at Skipton Auction Mart which, despite the odd light hearted jibe, is rapidly becoming one of the foremost arts and entertainment venues in the region

Kelly Holmes gives me a cuddle at Catterick Garrison - what a lovely person to talk to! She was trying to convince young girls that exercise is good for them

One of several interviews with MP William Hague. This time we chat about Fresh Radio getting FM frequencies. Mr Hague provided a lot of support for our cause, which was of course eventually successful

On stage with TV chef Lesley Waters. On this occasion she made me cook a huge piece of lamb - not my favourite meat! I've done several pieces with Lesley, going right back to the good old Yorkshire Dales Radio days

James Martin at the North West Food Festival at Stonyhurst College. The school, in the Ribble Valley, provides an incredible venue for the festival - we've been along on a couple of occasions.

I'd been warned that Monty Don was a bit of a handful to interview. In fact he was extremely pleasant, answering all of the questions I put to him with tremendous patience! This was at the Holker (pronounced Hooker) Festival 2007

At Holker Hall again, this time for Holker Day 2007. I'm pulling quite an incredible face as I chat with Lord Cavendish - not quite sure why! He's a very nice guy too. I had lunch with Lord and Lady Cavendish a few months before this event

Chatting with Lady Cavendish on Holker Day. We had quite a superb day, considering autumn was on it's way. Beautifully warm, fantastic food and drink, and great company too

Nick Henderson runs Corio Raptor Care, based in Bentham. He invited me along for the day as he set a buzzard free that had been trapped for several days.

This little chap that I'm trying to record at Corio Raptor Care decided to take a lump out of my microphone!

Me with Graham Sunderland, Cumbria's assistant chief constable. Graham was formerly with West Yorkshire Police, stationed at Keighley. Don't you just love the hat!

Walk to School day, and I think I've found my true vocation! Me on crossing patrol duty at Gisburn Road in Barnoldswick. Shortly after this was taken I did an OB from the middle of the road!

A day out on patrol on the M6, with highways officers. A fascinating day out, and a pretty tough job too, at times. This was the first anniversary of their introduction on the M6

Martin Eede, the chief executive of the Yorkshire air Ambulance, at the launch of the BBC series Helicopter Heroes. Martin and I became firm friends while he was chief executive.

Me in a car smash - it was a training exercise with North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue. I was invited along to Northallerton Fire Station to take part in the exercise with local fire crews

The make-up artist had a whale of a time putting this lot on - much to the amusement of the pair behind me! This stuff wasn't just painted on - it was actually dripping like the real thing

We meet HRH the Duke of York, Prince Andrew. He came along to the Air Ambulance headquarters at Leeds Bradford Airport

HRH pledges his support for the charity. Shortly afterwards he came over to me and joked about my mobile phone having been switched on during his speech!   Serious accidents have no respect for royalty. The air ambulance is called out four times during Prince Andrews brief visit. We caught it on camera taking off on the third occasion, to the A65 near Settle

Publicity pics taken by photographer Tim Los. These were supposed to have been used in a wide range of places, from full-sized cardboard cut-outs to magazine inserts. Tim did an excellent job, in fact the whole team spent almost an entire day at Rooder nightclub on the photoshoot. But the only place mine have ever appeared until now (at least one anyway) is on E-bay!
